Nintendo Switch: Show first pictures OLED
In less than a month, the time has come: then the new Nintendo Switch OLED console appears on the market. The new model should provide even better color contrast through the OLED screen. But so far there was this feature only in promo pictures of Nintendo itself to admire. In Japan, interested people now have the chance to throw a first look at the hybrid console in Natura.

The Nintendo Tokyo Store in Shibuya now presents the Nintendo Switch OLED in a showcase so that interested people receive a chance to take a look at the console before the official sales start on October 8, 2021.
On Twitter, those now share how the OLED model looks. On this model, especially the screen with OLED technology is exciting, as it can represent stronger black and tears and stronger color contrasts than the standard screen:

What can the OLED screen? The OLED model has a slightly larger 7-inch OLED monitor compared to the standard model, which enables more intensive color representation and high contrast. For comparison: The standard model is 6.2 inches.
And otherwise? The SWITCH dock of the OLED model offers a LAN port for the possibility of a wired internet connection. Other features of the OLED model are a wider kickstand, a larger internal memory and an improved audio.

Burn-in could become a problem
OLED screens generally have the problem that picture elements in the screen are burn-up in the screen. That could happen in the worst case with the OLED model, if you let the same visuals see over a longer period of time.
