Do you have no recap 2021 from Twitch? It is because

2021 Tilts to the end and Twitch currently sends annual reports to viewers and streamer. Especially on Twitter, the statistics were shared diligently while some users left empty. Mango tells you why you did not get a recap from 2021 and how you can activate it for 2022 — when Twitch does that again.

On December 13, Twitch wrote a tweet who informed that soon the Twitch Recaps will be sent and what to do to get this review (Via Twitter). 2 days later it was already so far and the first Twitch users received their e-mails.

When the backpacks of the year 2021 were shared via the Hashtag ThitchRecap, some Twitch users fell up that they did not receive recap. They then turned to the Twitch Support, who explained the users what this is.

Why did not you get a twitch recap? If you disabled the marketing options on its TWITCH account, you have been automatically excluded from this feature. The backpacks are only shipped via e-mail and are not, such as Spotify, in the app visible.

Where can you find the marketing options? Something hidden in the settings. Be logged in to your Twitch account, click on your profile picture. Then it opens an overview where you can find the item Settings relatively far below.

How to get your Twitch 2021 year recap Then you click on Notifications and then by e-mail. Also, there you have to scroll down to find the point Marketing. Now you just have to click on the slider so that a check mark appears — so you are in any case secured for the coming year.

Incidentally, the whole works only in the browser, about the Twitch app you can not make this setting.

Are you excluded from this year's recap ? Unfortunately, yes. The Twitch Support reported on Twitter with the explanation that you can not manually send the recap again (via Twitter).

Even those who have now switched on their marketing options now receive their recap no longer sent (via Twitter).

So looked at the Twitch Recap 2021

What does the Twitch recap look like? There were various recaps for both viewers and streamer. Therefore, spectators had insight up:

The number of messages sent. Earned channel points. Mostly used emotes. Mostly related channels. Most viewed categories.

The streamers could see these things in the summary:

Most popular streamed categories. How many hours the spectators spent in the stream. Overall the hours the streamer was live. Got followers. The channel points that collected all viewers on the channel. Mostly used emotes of the audience.

Unfortunately, there was also a problem with streamers: Many streamers only got their streamer recap, but not the normal viewer, though they had activated the marketing options.

This problem does not say twitch so far, and it is questionable whether the streamers concerned still receive a subsequent mail.

Community is angry with Twitch

Under Tweet's Twitch Support, there are a few extremely annoyed users who would have liked more transparency and information (Via Twitter). You just want to get a recap without having to select any hidden settings.

They say that the much tweet came too late and did not eat every Twitter.

XFL is one of the top comments and writes: There is no confusion here, but only frustration about the incompetence of this company that can not do anything right. Why wasn't there a banner on Twitch, who informed one thing that you have to confirm that? Why didn't you send e-mails that we have to select the options? Why did you give only two days before? Rune bee says, I'm shocked that the information is locked behind an e-mail and not something a user can look at his account. Again says: Nobody is confused. People who collected their money are upset because they were not informed about a great, small tool with which they could celebrate themselves and their community time on your platform. Yikes.

The community just wanted to be informed more about that and wide. Not every one uses Twitter and get such an indication.

An early e-mail or a clear reference to the LiveStream page would have been able to prevent some criticism in the case.
