DEL: Maciej Rutkowski moves from Krefeld to Iserlohn

The Krefeld penguins have relegated from the DEL, but for the 19-year-old Rutkowski it continues in the highest German ice hockey league. The attacker changes from Krefeld, in whose offspring he was trained, to Iserlohn.

"Of course it is not easy to leave Krefeld after nine years," Rutkowski is quoted on the Roosters website. "But I know that I will be in good hands in Iserlohn, so the decision was not so difficult for me because it is simply the best option for my personal development," said Rutkowski, who after the season at the first phase of the course the German national team was there.

"Maciej deserves the nomination for the national team. We want to give him the opportunity to go on this way and become a good DEL player," said Iserlohn's sporting director Christian Hommel.
