A Project U video is filtered, the Ubisoft cooperative shooter

A user on Twitter has filtered the presentation video of Project U , the new Ubisoft project announced a couple of weeks ago. It seems clear that this little footage serves as a presentation for some testers who have had the opportunity to try it, and in it, we can see part of its development team giving new details about the game, in addition to some brief fragments of gameplay.

Damien Kaiden, creative director of the game, mentions that the u of the name means unite, although it can simply be a reference to the cooperative mechanics of the title and not necessarily coincide with the final name of Project U. «As you will discover very quickly If you want to prevail in this game, joining other players is essential, said Kaiden. We have been working with passion for several years in this project, in which we intend to do something a bit different in the genre of cooperative _shooters, and we are very happy that you can finally build this game with us.

Now we know that it is being developed by the Ubisoft Annecy team that, in addition to being the main responsible for games such as Riders Republic or Steep, also participated in the multiplayer mode of Splinter Cell, the division franchise and seven titles of the Assassin's Creed Saga. Let us remember, in any case, that this game is still in the early phases of its development.

PROJECT Project U was officially announced at the end of last month, although very little is known about him. The official description notes that this game explores a new concept of shorter cooperative for sessions in which many players come together to overcome a great common threat. The news was accompanied by the presentation of its first closed beta, which would be available in a few European countries that include the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Portugal and Spain.
