The Nintendo Switch OLED is the new version of the Nintendo console. This iteration of the Nintendo Switch will be released in October 2021. Despite its novelty, this console is enormously criticized on the web.

The contributions of the Nintendo Switch OLED

The Nintendo Switch OLED is far from unanimous. While many players, and Nintendo fans, waited for a more powerful version of the switch, these were very disappointed by the announcement of this new console.

Indeed, it does not offer a power superior to the classic Nintendo Switch. Its main improvement lies in the presence of an OLED screen of 7 inches. Here is the list of improvements proposed by the Switch OLED :

• A screen using OLED technology.
• A 7-inch larger screen (against 6.2 before).
• An internal memory lined with 64 GB.
• A dock with Port Ethernet
• Adjustable support when using the switch on a table.
• Improved speakers.

Small improvements that improve the console but without revolutionizing it. We are therefore very far from a Nintendo Switch 4K as some YouTubers had announced (everything is good for making views).

Is the Nintendo Switch OLED zero as a console?

So, is this console zero? I detail all this in the video but, if I had to summarize, I will say no. It's an improved Nintendo Switch. We keep the concept of hybrid console and improvements are added that are welcome. So, it's a console that is far from zero.

On the other hand, we may wonder how Nintendo, in 2021, can bring us a console with so few improvements and a power so low. It is this point that can be reproached strongly at the Nintendo Switch OLED .

Few improvements, no power but ... a higher price! The SWITCH OLED will cost 50 € more ... Difficult to justify when it is known that the price of the switch has not fallen since its exit.

In this sense, I totally understand why fans are upset against this new version of the Nintendo Switch. Is it zero? No ! Is it disappointing for an output console in 2021? Yes totally and too much too much for what it offers.
