The creator of the Kerbal Space Program announces Balsa Flight SIM

The open beta of the game begins today.

Endless Space 2 - 15 tips for new players The mind behind the successful independent title Kerbal Space Program has announced Balsa Model Flight Simulator, a new flight simulator game that will allow players to create their own aircraft. The main developer, Felipe Falanghe, announced the project during the Gamescom Future Game Show, and gave us a look at some of the aspects of the game.

Falanghe explains that in Balsa Model Flight Simulator, players will be able to design and build their own aircraft in a similar way to how players could build rockets in Kerbal Space Program. Then you can use your plane in missions, fight with other pilots and even show them in the online multiplayer mode of the game.

Balsa Model Flight Simulator still does not have a launch date, but it will be launched at Steam Early Access at the end of this year. However, Falanghe also announces that the open beta of the game begins today and that interested parties can log in to Steam right now and try the game through the new Steam Play Test function.
